LPG Prices Today: The increasing tension between America and Iran has increased concerns about LPG prices. There is also growing concern about energy supplies through the Strait of Hormuz, which is a vital route for global shipments. Fatih Birol, executive director of the International Energy Agency, has warned that if the supply of oil through this route does not start soon, the world may face an energy crisis. Meanwhile, due to the deteriorating security situation and recent military actions by America and Iran, there has been a huge decline in the number of ships passing through this area.
Oil prices also rose on Monday. Brent crude crossed the $90 per barrel level, increasing concerns about fuel prices. By 2343 GMT, Brent crude futures were up $2.69, or 3.05%, at $90.79. That was the highest level since June 11 and extended last week’s gains, when prices rose 15.9%, the biggest weekly increase since April. US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude was at $84.68 a barrel, up $2.19 or 2.65%, its highest level since June 12. Front-month prices rose 15.5% last week, the largest weekly gain since the beginning of March.
