LPG Gas Cylinder: The common man won the lottery! This cheap thing will be available in LPG, the price of gas cylinder will directly reduce.

In this era of rising inflation, a very big and relief news is coming for the general public. The government may soon take a big and historic step to greatly simplify your kitchen budget. It is reported that the government is preparing a master roadmap to mix a special type of synthetic fuel ‘Dimethyl Ether’ in LPG i.e. cooking gas cylinders. Taking a big step in this direction, ‘Bureau of Indian Standards’ (BIS) has officially released a new standard regarding blending of dimethyl ether and LPG. However, experts in the energy world believe that it is very important to do some rigorous technical research and check the safety standards before implementing this new system in the homes of the general public.

The hassle of crude oil will end, thus the cost of cylinder will reduce.

Let us tell you that like petrol and diesel, LPG gas used in our kitchen is also prepared from crude oil. Whenever there is a rise in the prices of crude oil in the international market or there is any obstruction in its import, there is a direct and adverse impact on the supply and prices of petrol and diesel along with LPG in the country. In such a time of crisis, a blending policy like ‘Dimethyl Ether’ can prove to be a big security shield and helpful for the country. With the advent of this technology, not only will the availability of gas increase, but the cost of preparing cylinders will also reduce significantly. This is the main reason why BIS has already released its standard without wasting any time.

What is this magical synthetic fuel Dimethyl Ether?

Now this question must be arising in your mind that what is this Dimethyl Ether product? Actually, dimethyl ether is a very modern and clean type of synthetic fuel. Scientists and the automobile world believe that in the coming future, 10 to 20 percent of this special fuel can be easily mixed in our domestic LPG cylinders. The Indian government is preparing a big roadmap for this, so that the huge shortage of LPG in future and its skyrocketing prices can be curbed forever.

Experts gave big warning regarding new fuel

While on one hand the government is very excited about this policy, on the other hand many big energy experts of the country are advising to be a little careful and cautious regarding this mixing policy. The country’s well-known energy expert Narendra Taneja says on this matter that the technology of dimethyl ether is still in its initial stage. Before taking it directly to the kitchens of the public, very in-depth research and testing will have to be done on all its technical and economic aspects. Along with this, the government will also have to prepare a complete practical blueprint on how the safe operation (supply chain) of LPG and dimethyl ether will be done together. Unless concrete solutions to these basic and important safety related questions are found, this mixing policy cannot be considered effective and completely safe.
