LSG Introduce New Logo Ahead of IPL 2026 Season

The Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) have introduced a new logo that signals the beginning of a bold new chapter in the franchise’s journey ahead of the IPL 2026 season.

The revamped logo features Garuda’s wings and an elephant with a crown, which strongly indicates the change in colour of their new identity.

Ahead of the unveiling of LSG’s new logo, Manchester Originals, owned by the RPSG Group, was rebranded as Manchester Super Giants on January 26.

The LSG’s new logo design resembles the logo of the Manchester Super Giants, which also features the signature winged element with an elephant.

The owner of Lucknow Super Giants, Shashwat Goenka, explained the importance of the symbols in the new logo.

“This new logo is deeply emotional for us. The people of Lucknow and Uttar Pradesh welcomed the Super Giants into their hearts from day one. This symbol is a tribute to that love and belief. Garuda reflects our dreams to rise higher,” said Shashwant Goenka.

The Crown reflects the pride you place on us every time we take the field. And the Elephant reflects the strength and loyalty that define this region,” added Shahswat Goenka.

Despite a strong core, the Lucknow Super Giants had a disappointing campaign in the IPL 2025 season, finishing in the 7th position on the Points table.

However, revamped with new additions during IPL 2026 auction, the LSG squad looks a formidable team which includes players like Nicholas Pooran, Mitchell Marsh and Mohammad Shami.

The side will be aiming to claim their maiden IPL title during the 2026 season.
