LSG Next-Gen Day celebrated in Ekana: Amidst live music and enthusiasm, children encouraged the players.

Lucknow, Read: The enthusiasm of the players of Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) doubled when they took the field in the Next-Gen Day program organized at Ekana Cricket Stadium. Thousands of school children welcomed the team with applause and enthusiasm and wished them a great performance in the IPL. More than five thousand students attended the program wearing LSG’s new T-shirts.

Amidst the live music and energetic atmosphere, children cheered for their favorite players. The main attraction of the event was the Super Six Ball Contest. Team captain Rishabh Pant impressed everyone with his strong batting. He hit the longest six while hitting brilliant shots over mid-on and fine leg. Australian all-rounder Mitchell Marsh finished second, while Adam Markram could not succeed in hitting a six.

While entering the stadium, the players made the fans happy by throwing signature tennis balls and autographed balls towards the spectators. Captain Rishabh Pant looked very excited during the entire program. He practiced by playing football and also inspired children and fans. On a fan’s question, Pant smiled and said that he will definitely score a century this time too, although his iconic flip will depend on the situation of the match. At the end of the program, he thanked all the fans with folded hands and appealed for their continued support to the team.
