In this match, CSK, batting first, scored 187 runs for 5 wickets in 20 overs. Thanks to Mitchell Marsh’s century, LSG won the match by scoring 188 runs losing 3 wickets in 16.4 overs. Marsh did not stop here and played an inning of 90 runs in 39 balls with the help of 9 fours and 7 sixes. He was run out by Mukesh Chaudhary. He was supported by Jose Inglis, who was out after scoring 36 runs in 32 balls with 3 fours and 1 six. Nicholas Puran scored 32 for the team, Mukul Chaudhary contributed 13 runs and Abdul Samad contributed 7 runs. Mukul Chaudhary and Spencer Johnson took 1-1 wicket for Lucknow.

Karthik Sharma’s inning of 17 runs went in vain
Earlier, Karthik Sharma for Chennai Super Kings Scored 71 runs on 42 balls with 6 fours and 5 sixes. Apart from him, Shivam Dubey became the second highest run scorer for the team. They Played a stormy unbeaten inning of 32 runs with 3 fours and 2 sixes in 16 balls. For Lucknow Super Giants, Akash Singh took 3 wickets, Mohammed Shami and Shahbaz Ahmed took 1 wicket each.
