Jos Buttler became the fifth player to reach 14,000 runs
Jos Buttler has become only the fifth batsman in the world to cross the 14,000-run mark in his T20 career. Before him, Chris Gayle, Kieron Pollard, Alex Hales and David Warner had done this feat. He set this record with a 37-ball 60 against Lucknow. With 176 runs so far, Buttler has also emerged as a strong contender for the ‘Orange Cap’ in IPL 2026.

Washington Sundar did the rest with 21 off 13 balls, while Rahul Tewatia remained unbeaten on 10. Gujarat won the match with 8 balls to spare. This crucial win has also improved their net run rate.
