LSG vs GT: Famous Krishna’s ‘fours’ Lucknow defeated, Gujarat Titans will have to score 165 runs to win

Lucknow Super Giants vs Gujarat Titans: The 19th match of IPL 2026 is being played between Lucknow Super Giants and Gujarat Titans (LSG vs GT). Lucknow team has set a target of 165 runs to win against Gujarat Titans. LSG will be eyeing a hat-trick of wins to improve their position in the points table.

After losing the toss and opting to bat at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium, LSG scored 164 runs losing 8 wickets in the stipulated overs. The pair of Aiden Markram and Mitchell Marsh could make a partnership of only 14 runs in 1.3 overs. Marsh returned to the pavilion after scoring 11 runs in 4 balls with 1 six and 1 four. After this, Markram along with captain Rishabh Pant tried to handle the team by scoring 31 runs in 16 balls for the second wicket. Pant contributed 18 runs to the team’s account.

LSG team had lost 2 wickets till the score of 45, after which Markram along with Ayush Badoni scored 24 runs in 17 balls for the third wicket. Markram returned to the pavilion after scoring 30 runs in 21 balls with 6 boundaries, while Ayush Badoni contributed 9 runs to the team’s account. Lucknow Super Giants had lost 4 wickets till the score of 74. From here, Nicholas Puran along with Abdul Samad scored 35 runs for the fifth wicket and took the team beyond the century mark. Meanwhile, Puran scored 19 runs in 21 balls.

Apart from these players, Abdul Samad and Mukul Chaudhary returned to the pavilion after scoring 18 runs each. George Linde contributed 16 runs to the team’s account. Apart from these, Mohammed Shami scored unbeaten 12 runs in 5 balls with 1 six and 1 four. From the opposition camp, Prasidh Krishna took 4 wickets for 28 runs, while Ashok Sharma took 2 wickets. Mohammad Siraj and Kagiso Rabada took 1-1 wicket.
