Lucknow fire incident: Brajesh Pathak targeted Akhilesh Yadav, said – this painful incident is a direct result of the misdeeds of your own government.

The fire that broke out in Aliganj of Lucknow took away 15 innocent lives, but even on this terrible tragedy, the game of politics has started. Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak has directly targeted the opposition, especially Akhilesh Yadav. He clearly says that this fire is not just an accident, but a living proof of the corruption and misdeeds committed during the Akhilesh government.

Pathak, showing a sharp attitude, raised the question, “On one hand, 15 people have lost their lives, a mountain of sorrow has fallen on the families, and on the other hand, you are doing politics sitting in AC rooms?” He clearly said that the root of this heart-wrenching incident lies in the dark deeds of the Akhilesh government.

Brajesh Pathak’s big allegation regarding Aliganj building

The entire process from allotment of plot to illegal construction of the building in Aliganj where this massive fire broke out, took place during the tenure of the Akhilesh government. Pathak made shocking revelations about how this building became a dark example of the corruption of the Akhilesh government. He alleged that this illegal building was first sealed and then his own government got the seal opened. Even the work of canceling the demolition order happened during Akhilesh’s rule. Pathak said bluntly, “This painful incident is a direct result of the misdeeds of your own government.”

Four officers suspended in Aliganj fire incident, SIT formed

Referring to the prompt action of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Pathak said that the CM canceled all his programs and immediately visited the spot. He met the victims’ families and started the action in the night itself to get them justice. In this case, four officers have been suspended and strictest action has been assured against the culprits. CM Yogi has also formed an SIT to investigate the entire incident. Pathak promised that the government understands the pain of the victims’ families and will ensure complete justice along with all possible help to them.

But the real question arises on the tenure of Akhilesh government. Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak revealed the dates one by one, which expose the corrupt ‘ecosystem’ of the Akhilesh government. They allege that this very ecosystem has opened the way for construction of such dangerous buildings across the state, which are killing people today. Even though this building was allotted through lottery in 1980, the ‘real game’ of illegal construction started during the rule of Akhilesh Yadav.

Demolition order canceled within two months

Pathak told that on August 20, 2014, Akhilesh government passed the residential map of 1992 square feet. After this, in 2016, when a case of illegal construction was registered against it, an order for its demolition was also issued on 10 May 2016. But, the shocking thing is that just two months later, on July 5, 2016, the Akhilesh government canceled the same demolition order. Pathak raised a direct question, “Why and under whose pressure was this order cancelled?”

Satellite photos also expose this entire game. This plot was completely vacant in December 2015, but construction work started on it in February 2016 and the entire building was completed by June 2016. This clearly means that the map was passed arbitrarily, disregarding the rules and regulations, illegal construction was done and all this continued right under the nose of the Akhilesh government. Pathak asked a sharp question, “Was any action taken against any officer during Akhilesh’s tenure? Was anyone held accountable? Absolutely not!”

Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak stressed that this fire is not just an accident but a living proof of the corruption and gross negligence of the Akhilesh Yadav government. It tells how the rules were trampled while in power and today innocent people are suffering the consequences by losing their lives.
