Dubai connection of suspected terrorists caught from Lucknow exposed, Aaqib Khan mastermind; Questions raised on old clean chit of Bijnor Police

According to ATS sources, Lokesh, resident of Chhapraula, Greater Noida, and Vikas, resident of Bulandshahr, had gone to Mumbai in February on the pretext of job, where they were promised Rs 1 lakh in exchange for carrying out the arson incident. However, they could not succeed in this and returned back. After this they Delhi-NCR He was given the task of doing recce and sending videos of small arson incidents, for which he used to get Rs 15 to 20 thousand.

Investigation has also revealed that the accused were later sent to Gurdaspur, where they were entrusted with the responsibility of delivery of weapons. ATS is now trying to find out whether weapons were supplied and who are the people behind it. Agencies suspect that the wires of this network may be connected to the handlers sitting in Pakistan.

What was revealed about Bijnor?

Meanwhile, a big revelation related to Bijnor has come to light in this whole matter. In fact, last year, Aaqib Khan, sitting in Dubai, was given a clean chit by the local police in a viral video case. Weapons like AK-47 and hand grenade were shown in that video, which during investigation were declared as toys and perfume bottles and the case was closed.

Was action taken after questions were raised against the police?

Now after Aaqib’s name has surfaced in the latest investigation of ATS, questions have been raised on that action of the police. Bijnor SP Abhishek Jha has suspended the then police station incharge Satyendra Singh Malik for negligence in the matter, while Najibabad CO Nitish Pratap Singh has been removed and a departmental inquiry has been ordered.

Investigation has also revealed that Aaqib used to connect youth to his network through social media. He had three Instagram accounts, which had thousands of followers and where religious speeches, pictures of weapons and threatening videos were posted.

Which accused were arrested by ATS?

The four accused arrested by ATS include Saqib alias Devil, Arbab, Vikas alias Raunak and Lokesh alias Papala Pandit. All of them had reached Lucknow railway station with the intention of plotting a blast. The investigating agencies are now deeply investigating their funding network, other contacts and possible modules spread across the country.

At present, new revelations are being made every day in the investigation of ATS. The agencies suspect that this network was preparing to carry out a big conspiracy by becoming active in many states.
