When Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 hit theatres, it quickly made headlines for its box office success, grossing Rs 400 crore worldwide. The horror-comedy, starring Kartik Aaryan in the lead role, became an instant favourite, thanks to its thrilling storyline and comedic twists. Now, after dominating the big screen, the film has made its way to OTT, where it continues to win the audience’s attention. Since its release on Netflix, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has topped the trending charts.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3‘s Box Office Success

Not only did the film perform exceptionally well at the box office, grossing Rs 328.33 crore in India and Rs 417.51 crore worldwide, but it also became a massive hit on OTT. After its release on Netflix, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 quickly captured the number one spot on India’s top 10 trending list, surpassing Dulquer Salman’s Lucky Bhaskar.

About Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3

Released during Diwali this year, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 features Kartik Aaryan in the lead role of Rooh Baba. Along with him, the film boasts a stellar cast, including Madhuri Dixit, Tripti Dimri, Vidya Balan, Vijay Rai, Rajpal Yadav, and Sanjay Mishra in key roles. The movie takes the audience back 200 years, when a king burns his daughter, Manjulika, alive and traps her soul in a mansion. Rooh Baba is tasked with exorcising the vengeful spirit, leading to a series of eerie and comedic twists. The mix of horror and comedy, paired with an engaging storyline, kept audiences hooked from start to finish.

Kartik Aaryan returned to Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 in an alternate version of his character from Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. In February 2024, it was announced that Vidya Balan, who portrayed Manjulika in the original Bhool Bhulaiyaawould also reprise her role with a new twist. Shortly after, it was revealed that Madhuri Dixit and Tripti Dimri would join the cast. Rajpal Yadav, who is beloved for his portrayal of Chhota Pandit in the previous films, would return to his iconic role. The film also features a talented supporting cast, including Vijay Raaz, Rajesh Sharma, Manish Wadhwa, Sanjay Mishra and Ashwini Kalsekar.
