Based on everyday life in Tamil Nadu and Seoul, “Made in Korea” shows Shenba walking through unknown streets, slowly shaping her unique journey with some unexpected turns and new faces.
Filled with moments of vulnerability, quiet courage and unexpected connections, this story is about the journey of a girl making her place in a world far from home.
Produced with the support of Rise East Entertainment, this upcoming drama is produced by Ra. Directed by Karthik, who has also given the script of “Made in Korea”.
In the main cast of the drama, Priyanka Mohan will be seen sharing the screen with South Korean actors Park Hae Jin and No Ho Jin.
Giving more details about her next release, Priyanka Mohan said, “Made in Korea and Shenba’s journey is very personal to me. It is about finding strength in difficult moments and learning to stand on one’s own. Showcasing her growth from vulnerability to independence was both difficult and very rewarding.”
He further added, “This is my first collaboration with Netflix, which makes it even more special, and I am grateful that Shenba’s story will transcend borders and connect with audiences across the world.”
