A woman decided to first book Ola and Uber to go to the airport. Then a private cab driver comes and asks the woman to drop her at his doorstep. After this the woman did something and went away with him.

The driver had asked for a fare of Rs 450 from the woman to drop her to PG. Sharing her experience, the woman said, “While going towards the bus stand at the airport, a man came to me and asked me to drop him straight to my PG for just Rs 450. I was skeptical, but he told me that he was in a hurry to drop his friend and go to KR Puram house, which was close to my PG. He also showed me an app with my riding history and assured me it was normal.”

Initially the woman was a little hesitant but later she agreed to go with him. “Another man approached the car and the first man sat in the front seat,” the woman said on Reddit. After some time of the journey, they asked me to pay a toll fee of Rs 200. I noticed that they were taking a quiet route which looked scary. He tried to be friendly, spoke in Hindi and asked where I was from and what I do for work. Then he started playing loud music, shouting and abusing other vehicles on the road.” The woman further said, stopping at a place, he smoked a cigarette and drank tea. He also asked me for tea but I refused. Later they stopped the car at a petrol pump and asked me to pay Rs 300 for fuel, so I paid so that I could reach home quickly.

The woman told that the driver and the person sitting in the front seat used to smoke cigarettes inside the car and also take drugs. The woman further said, “Suddenly he stopped the car in a deserted area. There was another person standing there. The driver said he had to go somewhere else and his friend would take the car.'' After this he asked me for an OTP and asked me to pay Rs 3,000. When I said something, he started shouting at me. And said that Rs 450 was only for booking. The woman got scared. Because everyone had left him there. The distance to his PG was still 15 kilometers. The woman booked an Uber again. The Uber driver kept her bag in the car and dropped the woman safely to the PG.
