Indore. Madhya Pradesh Under-19 team has won the Cooch Behar Trophy title for the first time, adding a new chapter in its cricket journey. In the final match they defeated Gujarat by 6 wickets. In this exciting match, Gujarat had taken a lead of 38 runs in their first innings, but Madhya Pradesh bundled them out for 133 runs in the second innings and achieved the target of 172 runs required for victory by losing four wickets.
Excellent performance of Kushagra Nagar
In this important match, Kushagra Nagar, selected from the Under 16 team, played a brilliant inning of 71 runs. His innings gave strength to the team in important situations. His contribution led Madhya Pradesh to the title.
Leadership abilities of Yashvardhan Singh
Yashvardhan Singh scored 550 runs in the entire tournament and also performed brilliantly in bowling by taking 57 wickets. Due to his achievements he was declared Man of the Series for the entire tournament. His hard work and efficiency took the Madhya Pradesh team to new heights.
