Madhya Pradesh: Horrific road accident in Chhindwara, bus collides with truck, 10 people killed, more than 30 injured

Chhindwara26 March. A major road accident took place in Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh on Thursday evening, when a passenger bus collided with a truck laden with garlic near Simaria on Nagpur Road. 10 people died in the accident while more than 30 people are said to be injured.

Collector Harendra Narayan confirmed the accident and said that all the injured have been admitted to the hospital. It is being told that this horrific accident happened while the bus was trying to overtake the truck.

According to the information received, a large number of people had arrived from Bhandarkund by bus to attend the program of Chief Minister Mohan Yadav. While returning, this accident happened near Simaria. The dead include six men, three women and a child.

Administrative officers including Collector, SP are present at the spot. District Congress Committee President Vishwanath reached the district hospital. Where he met the injured. He said what was the need to bring village people to CM Mohan Yadav’s program on Ashtami day. BJP is responsible for this. He demanded a compensation amount of Rs 2 crore each to the families of the victims.
