Madhya Pradesh Police action, five minors recovered safely
In the sequence of actions related to public safety and child protection being continuously taken by Madhya Pradesh Police across the state, two major actions of safe custody of minor children in Narsinghpur and Shivpuri districts have been taken, which have strongly underlined the promptness, sensitivity and professional efficiency of the police.
Narsinghpur: Safe recovery of two minor girls within a few hours
As soon as information was received about the missing of a 9-year-old and 8-year-old girl in Gotegaon police station, district Narsinghpur on February 10, the police immediately started an intensive search. Considering the seriousness of the matter, four special police teams were formed under the leadership of Superintendent of Police Dr. Rishikesh. Extensive searches were conducted by the teams at the bus stand, railway station, surrounding rural areas and through CCTV footage. As a result of continuous efforts, both the girls were found in safe condition in the bushes near the Koha tree located in Semrawari farm of village Kamti. During interrogation, it was revealed that after eating Kurkure, she herself hid herself due to fear of scolding from her family members. Both the girls were handed over to their families safely.
Shivpuri: Three minor boys missing from the hostel were rescued safely from Guna.
On February 12, on the report of three minor boys (aged 14, 15 and 17 years) missing from the hostel in Police Station Kotwali, District Shivpuri, a crime was immediately registered and investigation started. A special team was formed on the instructions of Superintendent of Police Mr. Aman Singh Rathore. The team conducted an intensive search by thoroughly checking more than 80 CCTV cameras in the bus stand, railway station and surrounding areas in Shivpuri and Guna, as a result of which the three boys were rescued safely from Guna railway station and handed over to their families.
