‘Maha-alert’ of heavy rain: There will be torrential attack in these states from 4th to 10th July

The Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a major monsoon alert for almost every part of the country. There is a need to be careful while leaving the house for the next few days, because between July 4 and July 10, there is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rain in most of the states of the country. Tremendous impact of monsoon in eastern India

According to the Meteorological Department, a heavy spell of rain is about to begin in the states of Eastern India. There will be widespread rainfall in Jharkhand between July 4 and 10, along with an alert of lightning on July 4 and strong winds at a speed of 40-50 km/hour between July 4 and 8. Bihar will also receive sporadic to light rain between July 4 and 10, but a warning has been given of heavy rain on July 6-7 and 10. At the same time, there is a danger of extremely heavy rain in Odisha on 4-5 July and in West Bengal on 5 July.

Condition of North India and Delhi-NCR

There will be heavy rainfall in Uttar Pradesh between July 7 and 10, while monsoon will gain momentum in Delhi, Haryana and Punjab between July 6 and 8. There is a possibility of strong winds at the speed of 40-60 km/hour and heavy rain in these states. At the same time, in Rajasthan too, an alert of heavy to very heavy rain has been issued on different dates between July 4 and 9.

Warning of huge devastation in hilly and central India

There will be continuous rain in the hilly states of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand from July 4 to 10. ‘Orange alert’ has been issued for July 5 in Uttarakhand and July 6-7 in Himachal. Heavy rains will continue in Madhya Pradesh also between July 4 and 10. There is a possibility of very heavy rain in Chhattisgarh and Vidarbha on July 4 to 5.

Red alert in coastal areas and South India

There is a risk of extremely heavy rain in Maharashtra’s Konkan, Goa and Mumbai between July 4 and 7. Red and Orange alert has also been issued in Gujarat from July 4 to 7, due to which fishermen have been strictly advised not to go into the sea. Apart from this, Telangana may receive heavy rains with gale force winds on July 4. Heavy rain is forecast in coastal Karnataka from July 4 to 10 and Kerala from July 6-7. Even among the northeastern states, the intensity of rain is going to be highest in Assam and Meghalaya between July 7 and 9.
