Maha Kumbh 2025: CM Yogi said – 'May the virtues flourish – let's go to Maha Kumbh', 1.5 crore devotees took bath on the first day

Prayagraj. The influx of devotees has gained momentum on the very first day of Maha Kumbh 2025. On the day of Paush Purnima, people are reaching from all around Prayagraj for Kumbh Snan. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has claimed that more than 1.5 crore people have arrived for the Kumbh bath on Monday. In this regard, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath tweeted and called for reaching Mahakumbh.

The Chief Minister wrote that 'Hearty congratulations to all the saints, Kalpavasis and devotees who got the good fortune of taking Sangam bath on the auspicious occasion of 'Paush Purnima' in the auspicious festival of humanity 'Maha Kumbh 2025'. Today, on the occasion of the first bathing festival, 1.50 crore Sanatan devotees got the virtuous benefit of bathing in Aviral-Nirmal Triveni.
