Mahakumbh 2025: After free food, Gautam Adani will now distribute 1 crore books for free in collaboration with Geeta Press.

Gautam Adani: In Mahakumbh 2025, lakhs of devotees from across the country will reach Sangam city Prayagraj. India's top industrialist Gautam Adani has announced his participation in this historic event. He had already promised to provide free food to 1 lakh devotees every day. Now he has pledged to distribute 1 crore religious books free of cost in collaboration with Geeta Press Gorakhpur.

While sharing information about this on the social media platform 'X', Adani himself said that this service is a special contribution towards religion and culture for him.

1 crore 'Aarti Sangrah' books will be distributed

Gautam Adani has announced that more than 1 crore copies of Geeta Press's book titled 'Aarti Sangrah' will be given free of cost to the devotees. Under this plan, Adani met the officials of Geeta Press and finalized it. He said, "Mahakumbh is a great yagya of Indian culture and religious faith. This effort of distributing 1 crore copies of 'Aarti Sangrah' to the devotees in collaboration with Geeta Press reflects our spirit of service."

Appreciation of the works of Geeta Press

Praising the contribution of Geeta Press, Gautam Adani said that Geeta Press has been serving the nation through Sanatan literature for 100 years. Describing it as an inspiring institution, he expressed his gratitude for its excellent work. Adani said, "Service is meditation, service is prayer and service is God. Selfless service and responsibility towards religion is a form of patriotism."

Every day 1 lakh devotees will get free prasad

Earlier, Gautam Adani had announced to provide free food to 1 lakh devotees every day in Mahakumbh 2025. This work will be done in collaboration with ISKCON. Two huge and state-of-the-art kitchens have been built for this food distribution, where 2500 volunteers will provide service. A thali decorated with dal, roti, rice, vegetables and sweets will be served to the devotees. It will be served in eco-friendly leaves. Apart from this, 18,000 sanitation workers will be deployed to maintain cleanliness. Special arrangements have been ensured for the disabled, elderly and children.
