Important trains from Bengaluru to Prayagraj
- Sangamitra Super Fast Express (12295): The train will depart from Bengaluru at 9:27 am and will reach Prayagraj at 23:40 pm on the second day. The total travel duration will be around 38 hours and 30 minutes. The fare in the Sleeper Class is Rs 850, AC 3-Tier’s fare is Rs 2,205 and AC 2-Tier’s fare is Rs 3,200.
- Humsafar Express (22354): The train will depart from the Yesvantpur Junction railway station in Bengaluru at 13:50 pm and will reach Prayagraj at Cheoki Railway station at 4:22 am. The total travel duration will be around 38 hours and 32 minutes. The fare in AC 3-Tier is Rs 2,520.
How to reach the fair venue?
One can take an auto-rickshaw from the Prayagraj railway station with Rs 250 to Rs 350 to reach the Mela. One can take cab service for Rs 400 to Rs 600 or bus for Rs 50 per person. The expense for the train ticket will be between Rs 850 to Rs 3,500. If one avails local transport, then the expense will be between Rs 250 to Rs 600. Food and other expenses will take Rs 1,000 to Rs 1,500 and the overall expense will be Rs 2,100 to Rs 5,600.
