21 year old youth crushed to death by Mercedes near CM residence, death; Accused car driver absconding

Thane Car Accident: A luxury car hit a young man in Maharashtra. The young man died in the accident. The accident happened a day ago. The accused is absconding since the accident. However, the police have seized the car of the accused. The incident took place in Thane district of Maharashtra.

Thane is a district adjacent to Mumbai. Here a Mercedes car crushed a young man on 20 October. Today that young man died. Both the deceased and the accused have been identified. The name of the deceased is Darshan Hegde, he is 21 years old. Meanwhile, the name of the accused is Abhijeet Nair.

According to the police, the incident happened late at night. Darshan was going home after buying food. During this, a Mercedes going towards Nashik Highway hit Darshan and fled from the spot. Police later caught the car but Abhijeet Nair, who was driving the car, escaped from the police. The police have seized the car.

Police say that we are examining the CCTV footage. However, many CCTV cameras present near the incident site were out of order. They were not working. However, the police is investigating the entire matter. Let us tell you, this incident happened near the residence of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.

Some time ago, a similar hit and run case came to light in Pune, Maharashtra also. In Pune, a 17-year-old youth had crushed a couple riding a bike. The 17 year old boy was running away leaving his luxury car after the accident when he was caught by the people nearby and handed over to the police. Apart from this, a woman was also hit by a BMW car in Mumbai. It is alleged that the car driver is allegedly Mihir Shah (24), son of Shiv Sena leader.
