Maharashtra Election 2024: More than 18 percent voting in Maharashtra till 11 am, CM Shinde casts his vote

Maharashtra Election 2024: Voting continues for Maharashtra Assembly elections. Security arrangements have been made for voting. This time in the elections, the ruling party Mahayuti is again claiming to return to power, while Mahavikas Aghadi is claiming to return to the government. Voting on all 288 assembly seats will continue till 6 pm. After this the election results will come on 23rd November.

During this, Maharashtra CM and Shiv Sena candidate from Kopri-Pachpakhadi assembly seat Eknath Shinde said, today is a celebration of democracy. Everyone should vote. This will make the country stronger. People have seen our work of two and a half years and have also seen theirs. We started the development work which they had stopped.

At the same time, actor and director Anupam Kher said after casting his vote, everyone should vote. There is no bigger festival than this in a free country. Vote to make infrastructure, easy life. Those who will not participate in voting today have no right to complain.

Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Priyanka Chaturvedi said, it was an issue of Maharashtra's interest, development, progress… It was also an issue of our industries being removed from here to Gujarat. I voted for the trust, development and progress of Maharashtra.

Also, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister and BJP candidate from Nagpur South-West Devendra Fadnavis said, I want to request everyone that the celebration of democracy is going on. Participation is the most important thing in democracy. For those who have expectations from their government, it is most important for them to vote. I urge everyone to vote 100%, vote at all costs and participate in this celebration of democracy.
