Maharashtra Election: After Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir, now there is election war in Maharashtra and Jharkhand. Chief Election Commissioner Rajeev Kumar is telling about the election preparations. The total number of voters in Maharashtra is 9.63 crore, out of which 4.97 crore are male and 4.66 crore are female voters, he said. The number of first-time voters is 20.93 lakh. There are 1,00,186 polling stations in Maharashtra, this time also we will create booths run by PWD and women.

Let us tell you that voting will take place in a single phase on all 288 seats in Maharashtra. Voting will take place in Maharashtra on November 20, while counting of votes will take place on November 23. Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar said, the total number of voters in Jharkhand is 2.6 crore, out of which 1.29 crore are female and 1.31 crore are male voters. The number of first-time voters is 11.84 lakh. There will be 29,562 polling stations in Jharkhand.

Let us tell you that there are 288 assembly seats in Maharashtra and any alliance will need 145 seats to form the government. At the same time, there are 81 assembly seats in Jharkhand and any party will need 42 seats to form the government.
