This year Chaturdashi Tithi will start from 9:19 am on 26th February and end at 8:09 am on 27th February. Worshiping Lord Shiva at night has special significance, hence the fast and worship of Mahashivratri will be done on 26 February 2025.

Importance of worship on Mahashivratri
