Launch Date and Booking Details
Mahindra has already released several teasers regarding this SUV, which makes it clear that the company wants to offer it as a premium product. The official sale of Mahindra XUV 7XO will begin from 5 January 2026. Interested customers can book it online or by visiting a nearby authorized Mahindra dealership.
Its booking amount is kept at ₹21,000, which can be considered quite common in this segment. Even before launch, this SUV has been seen many times during testing, which gives an idea of its preparations.
Price
Now the biggest question is how much the new Mahindra XUV 7XO will cost. The X-showroom price of the current XUV700 goes from ₹13.66 lakhs to ₹23.71 lakhs. It is expected that the price of the XUV 7XO will see a slight increase, especially in the top variants.
The same base variant is expected to cost around ₹13.66 lakhs to ₹14 lakhs, making it much closer to the current model. At the same time, the top-end AX7L 7-seater diesel automatic AWD variant can see a larger price jump. Due to the high premium features and advanced technology, its price can go from ₹25 lakh to ₹25.5 lakh (ex-showroom).
design
Talking about design, Mahindra XUV 7XO is going to write a new chapter. Its look closely resembles the new XEV 9e, making it more futuristic. New grills, boomerang shape DRLs and trapezoidal LED headlamps on the front give it a distinct identity on the road. The new front bumpers give the SUV more muscular appeal.
Its backwards changes are no less. The new hexagonal detailing tail-lamps have been connected to the full-width light bar, which gives an extremely premium look at night. Also the new alloy wheels and revisited rear bumpers give it a fresh and modern feel.
Interior and Features
If the XUV 7XO from the outside is attractive, it becomes even more impressive from the inside. This will be Mahindra’s first ICE-powered SUV to feature a triple-screen dashboard. It includes a 12.3-inch central touchscreen, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 12.3-inch co-driver entertainment screen.
In addition, features such as Dolby Atmos support, panoramic sunroof, 540-degree camera, auto-dimming IRVM and Boss Mode with a 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system make it stand out in the category of luxury SUVs. LEVEL-2 ADAS technology makes it not only smart but also more secure.

Engine
Talking about the engine, there has been no major change in the Mahindra XUV 7XO, which can be good news for many people. It will get the same reliable 2.0-liter turbo petrol engine, which gives 200bhp power. It will also have the option of a 2.2-liter turbo diesel engine, which will be available in two tunes of 155bhp and 185bhp.
