Mahindra’s 4 New Electric SUVs For India Detailed
Mahindra is one of the leading SUV manufacturers in the country, and they have a decent number of models in both the ICE and EV ranges. As part of their future plans, Mahindra will be expanding their lineup and, like most brands, Mahindra has also taken EVs seriously and is working on them. They already have four models in their EV lineup. Here we have a list of four more electric SUVs from Mahindra that are going to be launched in the coming years.
BE6 70 kWh
Last year, at the time of the XEV 9S launch, Mahindra announced that the 7-seater EV will be offered with a 70 kWh battery pack, which will sit between the 59 kWh and 79 kWh battery packs. The same battery pack option will be offered in the BE6, and this new battery pack option will generate 242 bhp and 380 Nm of peak torque. The 70 kWh battery pack option will offer a claimed driving range of 600 km.
XEV 9E 70 kWh

Just like the BE6, the XEV 9E will also come with the same 70 kWh battery pack. It will generate the same amount of power and torque and will come with a similar range too. By introducing this new battery pack, Mahindra can actually offer more variety to customers, especially at a time when the competition is rising. Both the BE6 and XEV 9E 70 kWh battery pack variants are expected to be launched sometime later this year.
BE 07
During a recent event, Mahindra released details about their upcoming EV, the BE 07. It is actually a boxy-looking mid-size electric SUV that will sit above the BE6. It will be marketed as a family SUV and, compared to other Mahindra EVs, the production version of the BE 07 will come with a more restrained design that would appeal to most customers.

It will retain a boxy design with sleek LED DRLs, headlamps, and tail lights like the existing Mahindra models. It is expected to come loaded with premium features like a triple screen setup, augmented reality display, panoramic sunroof, electrically adjustable seats, seat ventilation, and maybe even a massager function. It is likely to be offered with the same 59, 70, and 79 kWh battery pack options and, as usual, Mahindra will be aggressive with the pricing. The BE 07 production version will have a different name, and it will be coming to the market in 2027.
BE 09
This is the other electric SUV that will be launched in the market. While we know about the launch timeline of the BE 07, not much information is available regarding the BE 09. It is actually a coupe electric SUV based on the same INGLO platform.

At the moment, there is not much information available about this SUV. All we know is that this is going to be a grand tourer, and Mahindra is likely to position this above the XEV 9E, as it is expected to be bigger than the 9E. It might also be the flagship model from Mahindra in their EV lineup. It will be loaded to the brim with premium features and is expected to offer a first-class experience to occupants. The BE 09 will also have a different name when it hits production. Mahindra has not announced a timeline for its launch, but it is expected to be launched sometime in late 2027 or 2028.
