'Main Dil Tum Dhadkan' actor Zoheb Siddiqui had an interesting discussion on the development of TV shows on the occasion of 'World Television Day'.
i heart you beat : Shemaroo Umang has always been dedicated to giving great content to its audience and his new show 'Main Dil Tum Dhadkan' is a perfect example of the same as it is being loved by the audience. In a special conversation with the show's lead actor Zohaib Siddiqui on 'World Television Day', he shared his views about the development of the TV industry and the changes in it. He told what this journey taught him as an actor.
Actor Zohaib Siddiqui says, “The TV industry is constantly changing and being an actor, we have to make the same changes in ourselves. I am happy to be a part of this change and am also ready to adapt myself as per the choice of the audience. I am happy that the audience is liking my acting. I have full hope that I will continue to give good performances in the future which can touch the hearts of people. Earlier television shows were based on high-intensity drama and over-the-top emotions. This was the style at that time and the audience liked it very much. As actors, we knew that the more drama there was, the more appreciation we would receive. “It was a trend and everyone did what was expected, but now everything has changed.”
Zoheb says, “Now audiences want to see something that reflects their lives and experiences. He now prefers a more natural and method-style acting, which is real and relatable to him. In my current show 'Main Dil Tum Dhadkan', I am playing the character of Keshav. He is a father who recently took custody of his son, whose existence he did not even know before. It is a very emotional journey and my character does what any father would do in real life. Now the audience doesn't just want drama, they want the truth and as an actor, our job is to show the reality of our character and through the show 'Main Dil Tum Dhadkan', we are focusing on the real emotions and also the reaction of the audience. It has been fantastic. “It shows that audiences are connecting with this kind of storytelling.”
Watch the show 'Main Dil Tum Dhadkan' every Monday to Saturday at 8:30 pm only on Shemaroo Umang.
