Major accident in Himachal’s Sirmaur: House caught fire, 6 people including 3 children burnt to death
Nauhradhar/Sirmour, 15 January. Six people, including three children, were burnt to death in a tragic fire last night in Sirmaur district of Himachal Pradesh. One person has been rescued in critical condition and referred to Solan Hospital. The incident has been confirmed by SDM Sangrah Sunil Kayath. Fire broke out at midnight DC Sirmaur Priyanka Verma said that this accident happened at around 3 o’clock in the night in Talangana village of Nauhradhar area. A total of seven people were present in the house where the fire broke out. Of these, six died on the spot, while one person suffered serious burns.
In the initial investigation, the cause of the fire is said to be short circuit. After a short circuit, the LPG cylinder kept in the house burst, due to which the fire engulfed the entire house. Within no time the house was completely burnt to ashes.
The deceased had come to entertain
This fire incident took place in Mohan Lal’s house. It is being told that all the deceased had come here to welcome guests and were sleeping at night when this accident happened. There are reports of some pet cattle being burnt alive due to the fire.

The deceased have been identified as follows – Naresh son of Durga Singh, resident of Taparoli, Rajgarh, Tripta wife of Naresh, resident of Taparoli, Rajgarh, Kavita wife of Lokendra, resident of Khumra, Chaupal, Sarika daughter of Lokendra, resident of Khumra, Chaupal, Kritika daughter of Lokendra, resident of Khumra, Chaupal, Kritik son of Lokendra, resident of Khumra, Chaupal. Lokendra is seriously injured in this accident. He has lost his wife and three children.

SDM Sangrah Sunil Kayath said that as soon as the information was received, the administration team left for the spot. The fire has been brought under control and relief and rescue operations are underway. The incident site is located in a very remote area, where even mobile network is not available. For this reason, there is difficulty in gathering complete information related to the accident. The administration is investigating from all aspects.
