According to Kanpur Police Commissioner Raghubir Lal, Shivam’s name was not mentioned in the initial FIR, but his name was later added on the basis of concrete evidence found in the investigation.
He said that digital evidence related to the activities before and after the accident is available with the police and on the basis of this further legal action is being taken. Meanwhile, Shivam’s lawyer has filed a petition in the court regarding bail and surrender.
- Car ran over footpath, two youths injured
According to eyewitnesses, the speed of the car was not very high, but suddenly it went out of control and climbed onto the footpath and hit a Bullet motorcycle parked there. Two youths riding the bike were injured, one of whom fell about 10 feet away after the collision. Some people claimed that foam was coming out of the mouth of the person sitting in the driver’s seat, which raised the suspicion of an epileptic fit, although the police have not made any official confirmation about this.
After the incident, the people present at the spot alleged that the bouncers who came with the car tried to disperse the crowd and even pushed them. The CCTV video after the accident has surfaced, in which the direct scene of the collision is not visible, but the situation immediately after that is captured. In the video, some people are seen getting down from the car and a crowd gathering around.
- The family was in the news earlier also
Shivam Mishra’s family has been in the headlines before for their luxury lifestyle. During the Income Tax Department raid in March 2024, luxury cars worth more than Rs 100 crore were recovered from places belonging to the family. These included expensive cars like Rolls Royce, Lamborghini, Ferrari and McLaren. At present, the police is busy collecting all the evidence related to the case and preparing the charge sheet and further legal process is going on.
