Major action taken by Obra police station under Operation Vajrapat
Sonbhadra / Uttar Pradesh – As per the orders of Additional Director General of Police, Varanasi Zone, Varanasi and under the direction of Deputy Inspector General of Police, Mirzapur Zone and Superintendent of Police Sonbhadra Abhishek Verma, under the able supervision of Additional Superintendent of Police Headquarters Anil Kumar and Area Officer Obra Amit Kumar, an intensive vehicle checking campaign was conducted under Operation Vajrapat by the Police Station Obra under the able supervision of.
During the campaign, a thorough investigation of suspicious persons and vehicles was conducted at various places in the Obra police station area. During checking, a total of 05 motorcycle vehicles found violating traffic rules, not submitting necessary records and being operated under suspicious circumstances were seized under the Motor Vehicles Act.
This campaign was conducted with the aim of establishing effective control over crime and illegal activities in the area, further strengthening law and order and increasing awareness about traffic rules among the general public.
The police administration has clarified that such special checking campaigns under Operation Vajrapat will continue in the future to maintain public safety and law and order. Obra Police appeals to the general public to follow traffic rules while driving and always keep all the necessary documents related to the vehicle with them.
