In fact, a software engineer died after his car went out of control and fell into a 20 feet deep pit filled with water late on Friday night near Sector 150 of Knowledge Park police station area in Noida. On receiving the information, the police along with State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and fire department teams reached the spot and after an overnight rescue operation, the body was recovered in the early hours of Saturday.
A police spokesperson said that at around 12.15 am on Friday night, information was received that the car had fallen into a 20 feet deep pit filled with water dug for the basement of an under-construction building near Sector 150. The spokesperson said that the search for the car and driver was started with the help of divers. He said that the car was recovered around 4 am and the driver was found dead inside the car.
How did the accident happen?
According to the information, due to absence of reflectors and boundary wall, Yuvraj (27)’s car fell into about 50 feet deep drain, due to which he died on the spot. The deceased was an engineer by profession and was returning home from his office in Gurugram in Sector-150.
