Major content creators resign amid contract dispute
In a shocking Christmas Day “exodus,” the gaming world is reeling after Adapt, JasonTheWeen, Stable Ronaldo and Lacy simultaneously announced their departure from FaZe Clan.
The move which appeared highly coordinated effectively shut down the organisation’s entertainment division and signalled the end of its iconic content house era.
The departures were reportedly triggered by a breakdown in contract negotiations with new management. Sources suggest the creators were asked to accept unfavourable terms including a 20% revenue split.
Longtime veteran Adapt, who spent 14 years with the brand posted an emotional farewell stating:
“I’d be lying if I said this didn’t hurt but it had to be done.” He added a hopeful note, saying, “The best is yet to come.”

The split has turned incredibly bitter. FaZe co-founder Banks, who recently stepped down as CEO, slammed the departing creators in a heated video. He accused them of being ungrateful, stating, “I find you guys to have insane egos. I think it’s disgusting.”
He further claimed that their public friendships were a front, saying, “It makes me sick to my stomach that your guys’ relationship with each other is so incredibly fake.”
While stars like YourRAGE and Kaysan also exited, FaZe Clan insists its esports operation remains unaffected. However, with almost its entire creator roster gone the legendary brand faces an uncertain future.
