Elections are to be held on five Rajya Sabha seats in Bihar. The dispute has increased in NDA regarding this. Upendra Kushwaha has already staked claim for the fifth seat. After this, Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi has also staked claim on one seat. Jitan Ram Manjhi told on Tuesday that he was promised a Rajya Sabha seat. Whereas Upendra Kushwaha has already said that BJP had promised him a seat. Let us tell you that Union Home Minister Amit Shah will hold talks with the constituents of the NDA alliance on Wednesday 25 February. The final seal regarding Rajya Sabha elections will be given only after the talks. Let us tell you that BJP’s victory is certain on four out of five seats of Rajya Sabha. There is every possibility of elections being held between NDA and Grand Alliance on one seat. If the NDA alliance wants to win the fifth seat, it needs three MLAs. Whereas the Grand Alliance needs six MLAs to win the seat.

Regarding the fifth seat of Rajya Sabha, Jitan Ram Manjhi said that we have not asked for a seat for ourselves from the alliance. We were already told that you will be given one Rajya Sabha seat and two Lok Sabha seats. He said that I do not think that our leadership will go back on what it has said. I will wait till the last moment to talk about my leadership.
