The year 2026 is going to be a very busy one for the Indian cricket team. Team India has a packed schedule from January to December. The Indian team will also be hosting the T20 World Cup (Men’s) in 2026, and will also be touring Sri Lanka, England, and New Zealand. Here is the complete schedule for Team India in 2026.
India’s Under-19 team will tour South Africa
Under the captaincy of Vaibhav Suryavanshi, the Indian team will travel to South Africa to play a three-match ODI series. The ODI matches will be played on January 3rd, 5th, and 7th. The Under-19 World Cup is also scheduled to begin on January 15th.
New Zealand team to tour India
The New Zealand team will tour India to play a three-match ODI series and a five-match T20 series. The ODI series will begin on January 11. The ODI matches will be played on January 11 (Vadodara), January 14 (Rajkot), and January 18 (Indore). The T20 matches will be played on January 21 (Nagpur), January 23 (Raipur), January 25 (Guwahati), January 28 (Visakhapatnam), and January 31 (Thiruvananthapuram).
Indian Women’s Team Tour of Australia
The Indian women’s cricket team will tour Australia to play a three-match T20 series, a three-match ODI series, and a one-off Test match. The T20 matches will be played on February 15, 19, and 21, while the ODI matches will be played on February 24, 27, and March 1. The only Test match will be played from March 6.
The T20 World Cup will be held in February-March, followed by the IPL in April-May
The T20 World Cup will be held from February 7 to March 8, while IPL 2026 will be held from March 26 to May 31.
Indian Women’s Team Tour of England
The Indian women’s team will tour England between May 28 and July 13, where they will play three T20 matches (May 28, May 30, June 2) and a one-off Test match (starting July 10). The Women’s T20 World Cup will also be played between June 12 and July 5. The Women’s T20 World Cup will be held in England.
