- Cauliflower: 400 grams (cut into small florets)
- Green peas: 1 cup (fresh or frozen)
- Onion: 1 large (finely chopped)
- Tomato: 2 (finely chopped)
- Ginger: 1 inch piece (grated)
- Green chilli: 2 (finely chopped)
- Garlic: 4-5 cloves (finely chopped)
- Cumin: 1/2 tsp
- Asafoetida: 1 pinch
- Turmeric powder: 1/4 tsp
- Coriander Powder: 1 tsp
- Red chilli powder: 1/2 tsp (as per taste)
- Garam Masala: 1/4 tsp
- Coriander leaves: 2-3 tbsp (finely chopped)
- Oil: 2-3 tbsp
- Salt: as per taste

- First of all, wash the cauliflower and cut it into small florets. Wash green peas. Finely chop onion, tomato, ginger, green chilli and garlic.
- Now add chopped tomato, ginger, green chilli and garlic in a mixer and grind it. Make a smooth paste.
- After this, heat oil in a pan. Add cumin and let it crackle. Then add asafoetida. Add chopped onion and fry until golden.
- Then when the onion becomes golden, add the masala paste and fry well. Add turmeric powder, coriander powder and red chilli powder and mix.
- Now add cauliflower and green peas and mix well. Fry for 2-3 minutes.
- Then add 1 cup water and add salt as per taste. Cover the pan and cook on medium flame for 10-12 minutes or until the vegetables become soft.
- Then just turn off the gas and add garam masala and coriander leaves and mix. Serve with hot roti, paratha or rice.
