  • 3-4 leftover light dry rotis
  • 1 cup gram flour
  • 1/4 cup curd
  • 1 finely chopped onion
  • 1 finely chopped tomato
  • 2 green chillies
  • 1/2 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon celery
  • salt as per taste
  • green coriander
  • oil or ghee for baking

Prepare crispy cheela in minutes

Making this delicious cheela is very easy and you can prepare it in just a few minutes.

Method:

  1. First of all, break the rotis into small pieces or grind them coarsely in a mixer.
  2. Prepare a smooth batter by adding gram flour, curd, ginger-garlic paste, spices and some water in a bowl.
  3. Now add chopped vegetables and green coriander and mix well.
  4. Add the roti pieces to the prepared mixture and leave for 5–10 minutes so that the rotis become soft.
  5. Heat the pan, apply some oil or ghee on it and spread the mixture in a round shape.
  6. Cook on medium flame until golden and crispy on both sides.
