  • First of all, boil all the potatoes well. After boiling, peel and mash the potatoes.
  • Now heat some oil in a pan. Add finely chopped garlic to it and fry it on low flame until it turns golden. Garlic tadka will be ready.
  • Next, add roasted garlic, ginger, green chilli, coriander, chaat masala, black pepper, red chilli powder, salt and kasoori methi to the mashed potatoes. Mix everything well.
  • Add cornflour or gram flour in the potato mixture, so that the tikkis can bind well. If the mixture seems too sticky, you can add some more gram flour or cornflour.
  • Make small balls from this prepared mixture and then press them lightly to give them the shape of tikkis.
  • Heat oil in a pan. After the oil is hot, put the tikkis in it and fry on medium flame till they become golden and crisp from both the sides.
  • Take out the fried tikkis on a plate, so that the excess oil is absorbed. Now serve these garlic tikkis hot with green chutney or tomato sauce.
