Potato and Boondi Sabzi: Aloo Boondi Recipe
Material
- 5- 7 potatoes
- 3 cups boondi with raita
- 1 finely chopped onion
- 5-6 finely chopped green chillies
- 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- half teaspoon mustard seeds
- 2 finely chopped tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 2 teaspoons red chili powder
- 2 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- half teaspoon kasuri methi
- half teaspoon garam masala
- half cup oil
- finely chopped coriander leaves
method of making
- To make potato and boondi curry, first wash the potatoes with water, put water in a pressure cooker and boil the potatoes.
- Now cut 2 onions with the help of a knife. After this, heat a pan on the gas.
- Then add oil into it. When the oil becomes hot, add cumin seeds and mustard seeds and crackle it.
- Now add finely chopped onion and green chilli and fry.
- After some time, add ginger-garlic paste and fry it well.
- Now add finely chopped tomatoes into it. Then add turmeric powder, salt, red chilli powder, coriander powder and cumin powder and fry.
- When the spices are fried, add chopped boiled potatoes to it and fry with the spices.
- When the potatoes with spices are fried, add boondi with raita to it and fry for 2 minutes.
- Then add 2 cups of water to make gravy as per your choice.
- Now cook it well until it comes to a boil.
- When it comes to a boil, add garam masala and kasoori methi and mix.
- Turn off the gas after 5 minutes. Garnish the vegetable with finely chopped coriander leaves.
- Delicious vegetable of potato and boondi is ready. Serve it with puri and paratha.
