Material

  • 2 grated cucumber
  • 2 cups gram flour
  • 1 finely chopped onion
  • 3-4 finely chopped green chillies
  • Half cup finely chopped coriander leaves
  • half teaspoon finely chopped ginger
  • half teaspoon red chilli powder
  • half teaspoon turmeric powder
  • salt as per taste
  • half teaspoon cumin powder
  • water as required
  • half cup oil

method of making

  • To make cucumber cheela, first peel 2 cucumbers and wash them with water.
  • Now grate the cucumber and keep it in a plate. After this, squeeze out the water from the cucumber with the help of hands.
  • After this, put gram flour in a bowl. Then add salt, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder and mix.
  • Then add finely chopped onion, green chilli and grated cucumber and mix.
  • Now slowly add water to it and prepare a thick solution.
  • After this, keep a pan on the gas to heat.
  • Then add 1 teaspoon oil in the pan. When the oil is hot, pour the batter on the pan with the help of a ladle.
  • When the cheela is cooked on one side, turn the cheela with the help of a spoon.
  • Now cook the other side in the same manner. When the cheela is cooked from both sides, take it out in a plate.
  • Prepare cheela from all this mixture. Cucumber cheela is ready. Serve hot cheela with chutney and tea.
