  • 2 cups pasta
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4-5 garlic cloves (finely chopped)
  • 1/2 cup fresh cream
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tsp lemon peel (lemon zest)
  • 1/2 cup grated cheese
  • salt as per taste
  • freshly ground black pepper
  • Fresh parsley or coriander (for garnish)

How to make lemon pasta

Lemon pasta is a tasty dish which is very much liked. To make this, first boil water in a big vessel and add some salt in it. Now add pasta and cook for 8-10 minutes until it becomes soft. After boiling, filter the pasta and keep it aside.

Heat olive oil in a pan and add chopped garlic and fry till it becomes light golden. Now add cream and milk to it and mix well on low flame.

When the sauce starts to thicken a little, add lemon juice and lemon zest to it. Also add salt and black pepper and mix well. This step gives fresh and tangy flavor to the pasta.

Now add the boiled pasta to the sauce and toss well, so that the sauce coats each pasta well. After this add grated cheese to it and mix lightly.

Take out the prepared lemon pasta in a plate and garnish with parsley or coriander. Serve it hot and enjoy its great taste.
