Make Ridge gourd parathas at home like this – a wonderful recipe

– 1/2 tsp red chilli powder

– 1/2 tsp turmeric powder

– 1/2 tsp garam masala

– 1 tsp coriander powder

– Salt to taste

– 2 tbsp coriander leaves (finely chopped)

Method:

1. Prepare the dough:

– First of all, put wheat flour, salt and oil in a vessel.

– Add water little by little and knead a hard dough. Cover the dough and keep it aside for 15-20 minutes.

2. Prepare the stuffing:

– Grate the ridge gourd and squeeze out its water gently.

– Add grated ridge gourd, green chillies, ginger paste, red chilli powder, turmeric, cumin powder, garam masala, coriander powder and salt in a vessel.

– Mix all these ingredients well and prepare the mixture.

3. Make the parathas:

– Make small balls of dough and roll one ball to give it the shape of a small roti.

– Place ridge gourd stuffing in it and close it from all sides.

– Now roll it gently so that the stuffing does not come out.

4. Bake the Parathas:

– Heat a pan and pour some oil on it.

– Place the rolled roti on the pan and bake it on both sides until it becomes golden and crispy.

– Apply oil or ghee as per requirement and cook the parathas well.

5. Serve:

– Remove the hot Ridge gourd parathas from the pan and serve with curd, pickle or chutney.
