New sticker feature in Google Photos
Google Photos has introduced a new and attractive update for Android users. Now users can convert their favorite photos into stickers and share them on applications like WhatsApp, Instagram and Telegram. This feature was first available to iPhone users in August 2025, but Android users had to wait a while for it. Now this feature is gradually becoming available to all users.
How to make a sticker of your photo
If you have Google Photos version 7.64 or newer and your mobile has at least 4GB of RAM, you can easily create stickers. Choose your favorite photo in which the subject is clearly visible, and long press on it. As soon as the outline on the photo comes to light, your sticker is ready.
Easy way of sharing and saving
You can instantly copy the created sticker or share it directly on apps like WhatsApp, Instagram, and Telegram. Additionally, all stickers will be automatically saved in an album called “Your Stickers”, so you can easily use them later.
Upcoming Updates
Google has informed that a new update will come in the future which will make the option of “Sticker History” available. This means you won’t need to create your favorite stickers again and again, instead you can select and use them directly from the history. This will make the experience of Android users similar and more attractive to that of iOS users.
Big benefit for Android users
This feature is especially beneficial for those who want to make their chatting even more creative. Converting any photo into a sticker and sending it to friends will now not only be easy but will also make conversations more interesting.
