Make tasty Gulab Jamun with semolina on Diwali 2024

Ingredients to make Semolina Gulab Jamun

-1 tsp ghee

-one cup semolina

-1½ cups milk

-1 cup water

-1 cup sugar

How to make Semolina Gulab Jamun

To make semolina gulab jamun, first keep a pan on medium flame. Now heat ghee in this pan, add fine semolina to it and fry it while stirring for 5 minutes. When the semolina is roasted well, add one cup of milk and half a spoon of sugar and cook while mixing well. After the milk dries, add half a cup more milk. Keep in mind that there should not be lumps in the semolina. Cook it until the milk dries completely. After this, remove the semolina flour from the flame and cool it. After it cools down, take out the semolina flour on a plate and knead it well. Keep in mind that before kneading the dough, apply some ghee on your palms and then knead the dough for 10 minutes.

After bringing soft semolina flour, apply ghee again on the palms and make small balls of the dough. Now heat ghee in a pan and keep it on low flame, add all the semolina balls one by one and fry them. When the balls are cooked and turn golden brown in color, take them out from the ghee. Now add water and sugar in another vessel and keep it on flame. When the sugar dissolves well then turn off the flame. Now put the already prepared Gulab Jamun in the syrup and place it on the flame and bring it to a boil. Remove from flame and let the Gulab Jamun soak in the syrup for 1-2 hours. Your tasty semolina gula jamuns are ready.
