Ingredients for langar dal

-1 cup black urad dal

-Half cup chana dal

-8 garlic cloves

-2 tbsp ginger paste

-5 green chillies

-Turmeric

-Oil

-1 tablespoon desi ghee

-chilli powder

-1 chopped onion

-finely chopped coriander

-Salt as per taste

How to make langar dal

To make langar dal, first wash black urad dal and gram dal thoroughly and soak them in lukewarm water for about 1 hour. After one hour, change the water of the lentils and wash them again. Now add the dal in the cooker along with 4 cups of water, 1 spoon ginger paste, 4 garlic cloves and green chillies, close the lid of the cooker and let it cook for 7 whistles. After this, turn off the gas flame and let the steam come out of the cooker. Now place a pan on the gas and add oil to heat it. After this, add finely chopped garlic, onion and 1 teaspoon ginger paste in the pan and fry well. Now add boiled lentils, red chilli powder and turmeric and cook without covering for 10 minutes. Your tasty langar dal is ready. You can serve it with roti or rice.
