Ingredients for making Palak Dal
100 grams spinach
one cup gram pulses
two to three onions
4-5 tomatoes
ginger-garlic paste
Green chilli 3-4
turmeric powder
salt as per taste
coriander powder
3 whole red chillies
1 teaspoon mustard
5-6 finely chopped garlic
Recipe to make Palak Dal
First of all, wash and chop the spinach thoroughly.
-Then wash the lentils and turn them into a pressure cooker.
-Mix chopped spinach together.
-Add chopped tomatoes along with onion and ginger-garlic paste.
-Add salt and turmeric, mix water and cook for three to four whistles.
-When the gram dal is cooked, turn off the gas flame.
–For seasoning, finely chop four to five cloves of garlic.
-Put mustard oil in the tadka pan and heat it. When the oil becomes hot, add mustard seeds.
-Add garlic and fry until golden. Also add whole red chilli and coriander powder. After frying well, mix tadka over the dal.
– Tasty hot palak dal is ready. Serve it hot with roti and rice.
