what materials are needed
Carrot – half kilo
Cauliflower – half kilo
Boiled potatoes – 2 to 4
PC mustard-5 tbsp
Salt – two spoons
Asafoetida – a pinch
Hot water – 2 liters
PC red chilli – half teaspoon
Mustard oil – two spoons
a glass jar
Learn easy recipe to make Kanji
Here to make Kanji, you should adopt this method which is as follows..
1- To make this, first put all the carrots and cabbage in hot water and boil it.
2- Strain the boiled vegetables in a sieve. This will separate the water.
3-Now take a glass jar and pour lukewarm water into it.
4-Add ground mustard seeds, salt, asafoetida, red chilli and mix.
5-Now you have to add boiled carrots, cabbage and potatoes in it and stir again.
6- Finally, add mustard oil and stir once again lightly with a ladle.
7- Tie any thin cotton cloth over the jar and keep it in the sun for two to four days.
You can eat it like pickle or drink it if you wish.
