Kitchen smoke, wet clothes, dampness of closed rooms and less ventilation often cause bad smell in the house. Below are some easy, natural and safe solutions that will keep your house smelling fresh and relaxing throughout the day.

Open windows – natural ventilation

Open windows for at least 20–30 minutes every morning. Fresh air removes odor and dampness. If possible, keep cross-ventilation (open the window on one side and the door on the other side).

Use of lemon and baking soda

Place baking soda in a bowl – it absorbs odors. Keep lemon slices in the fridge or kitchen. Put some baking soda in the dustbin.

Make Natural Room Freshener

Add 1 cup water, 1 teaspoon rose water, 5–10 drops of any essential oil (lavender, lemon, eucalyptus) in a spray bottle. Shake lightly and spray in the room.
