Now making Ayushman card has become easy, government has launched a new mobile app, know the registration process.

CG News: There is good news for the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana in Chhattisgarh. To get Ayushman card made under Ayushman Bharat Mission, now you will not have to stand in long queues nor will you have to visit the public service center. The state government has started a new facility for making Ayushman card, under which now you will be able to make your Ayushman card from your mobile sitting at home.

The aim of the government is that the benefits of Ayushman Yojana should reach every eligible family of Chhattisgarh and no person should be deprived of treatment due to financial constraints. For this, under the Ayushman Bharat scheme, eligible families get free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh every year.

Ayushman card will be made sitting at home

The state government and the National Health Authority have started a new facility to simplify the process of making Ayushman card. Under this, people will be able to make their Ayushman card from their mobile sitting at home. Now the card can be prepared only through mobile, Aadhaar number and OTP. For this, first of all the beneficiary will have to check his eligibility by visiting the website mera.pmjay.gov.in or PMJAY/Ayushman App. In this, family details can be seen by name, ration card, mobile number or Aadhaar.

All work will be done by phone

Once eligible, Ayushman card can be easily made through the mobile app. For this, login to PMJAY/Ayushman App and enter Aadhaar number. After which OTP (One Time Password) will come on the mobile linked to your Aadhaar. Verify your identity by entering OTP. After verification, the photo of the eligible member is taken on the app with the mobile camera. After which your Ayushman card will be generated easily in a few seconds.
