Found son after 20 years of waiting …’hit and run’ took away the life of an innocent child, the father told the painful story

Malad Hit and Run Case: A sad news from Malad, Mumbai shocked everyone. A family was celebrating a wedding, but suddenly there was mourning. Four-year-old Lakshya Singh’s life was snatched away by a speeding Innova car. The child was born after his parents waited for 20 years. He was their only support. But this accident took away his support.

After the incident, the accused driver fled from the spot. The entire incident was captured in CCTV. The victim’s family is now demanding justice. The Singh family, living in Nilyog Virat Building in Malad East, was engrossed in wedding celebrations on February 5. The hustle and bustle of relatives, decorations in the house and the glow of happiness were clearly visible everywhere.

When, how and why did this accident happen?

The family remained there even after marriage. The four-year goal was also seen playing in the midst of all this. No one had imagined that the happiness of that house would vanish within a few hours. But that’s exactly what happened. Suddenly the happiness of marriage turned into tears. That day around four o’clock, Laksh was playing downstairs in the building. As children often do, he was running around carelessly.

Amidst all this jumping of the child, suddenly a black Innova Crysta came at high speed. Before anyone could understand anything, the car hit innocent Laksh. Onlookers say that the car was moving at a very high speed. The accident happened in a few seconds, but its impact changed everyone’s life.

Tragic incident captured in CCTV

The entire incident was captured in CCTV. It is seen in the footage that the car suddenly stops after crushing the child. Everything stops for a few moments. After some time, the watchman of the building is seen running away with the child in his lap. Then the driver runs away with the Innova. This video has now become the most important evidence for the family.

Father told a tearful story

Jaiprakash Singh, father of deceased Laksh, told that his son was born 20 years after their marriage. He was their only child. The hopes of the entire family were pinned on him. He said that if the accused had taken the child to the hospital immediately, his life could have been saved. If the accused had shown some humanity then Laksh would have been alive today.

Jaiprakash Singh also raised questions on the police action. They allege that after registering the FIR, the accused was immediately produced in the holiday court. The police did not ask for his custody. The family claims that the police were about to grant him bail. When they came to know about this, they went to Dindoshi police station and created a ruckus, due to which the bail process was stopped.

Grief transformed into demand for justice

The family has demanded that the case be registered as a hit-and-run case. They claim that the accused dragged the child after crushing him, then left him and ran away. This is not just an accident but a huge negligence. The family’s grief has now turned into a demand for justice.
