The Congress chief said that the Prime Minister made 6 posts on social media 'X' to defend the Home Minister. He said that Shah should have been removed from the cabinet for speaking wrong about Babasaheb. Kharge said, “We want Shah to resign from the post of Home Minister. If the Prime Minister has reverence for Ambedkar then Shah should be dismissed by 12 o'clock tonight, otherwise people are ready to sacrifice their lives for him (Baba Saheb).”

Earlier, while talking to reporters in the Parliament complex, Kharge also claimed that Shah's comment meant that even taking Babasaheb's name was a crime. He said, “When Amit Shah ji gave a statement in the House (Rajya Sabha) yesterday in the name of Babasaheb Ambedkar ji, I raised my hand and sought permission to speak. But I was not given a chance to speak. At that time we all sat quietly in the spirit of cooperation, because we were discussing the Constitution.”

In this regard, according to the Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha, the entire opposition has expressed protest against the way the Home Minister insulted Babasaheb. Kharge alleged that the 'Manusmriti' and RSS ideology in the minds of Amit Shah and BJP people shows that they do not respect Babasaheb's Constitution.

Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Kharge said, “We strongly oppose Shah's remarks.” The country and the countrymen will not tolerate the insult to Babasaheb. Amit Shah should apologize to the entire country and resign from his post.”
