Oats Malpua Recipe: Hearing the name of Malpua, everyone’s mouth waters. But, due to the rapid spread of lifestyle diseases these days, most people are staying away from these weight gainers. Besides, oats are also rich in carbs and fiber. If you are going to make these Oat Malpuas for the first time, then let us tell you an easy recipe by which your tasty and healthy Malpuas will be ready in no time. Ingredients to make Oats Malpua

  • Oats- 100 grams
  • Wheat flour- 1 tablespoon
  • banana- one
  • Sugar- half cup
  • Milk- one cup
  • Oil- 4-5 spoons
  • Finely chopped almonds and pistachios – 1 tablespoon
  • Cardamom powder- ½ tsp
  • Fennel – ½ tsp

First of all, grind oats in a mixer and make a fine powder. Now add one spoon wheat flour to it. After this, mash a ripe banana well and add milk along with it and mix everything well. Now add sugar, fennel and cardamom powder and mix. If the mixture seems too thick then add water little by little to make the right consistency. Now heat oil in the pan and drop small malpuas from the prepared batter with the help of a big spoon. Fry them on low flame till they become golden brown from both the sides and take them out on tissue paper.

If you like Oats Malpua with syrup then boil water in a pan on medium flame, add sugar in it and keep stirring till it dissolves. Remove the scum that appears on top and then add cardamom powder, dry fruits and saffron and let the syrup thicken a little. Remove from flame, cool slightly and add the prepared malpuas to it and submerge them well. Sprinkle chopped almonds and pistachios on top and serve.
